Not all trauma looks the same. Children often express emotional pain through behaviors, not words. Here are signs to watch for:

👀 Emotional Clues

• Big mood swings or outbursts

• Anxiety or constant worrying

• Feeling numb or “zoned out”

🚸 Behavioral Shifts

• Sudden aggression or defiance

• Acting much younger than their age

• Avoiding certain people, places, or topics

🛌 Physical & Academic Changes

• Trouble sleeping or frequent nightmares

• Unexplained headaches or stomachaches

• Drop in school performance or focus

🎨 Other Signs

• Repetitive themes of fear or violence in play

• Overly clingy or distant with loved ones

✨ Early support can make all the difference. If you're concerned about your child, you're not alone—and help is available. 💙
