Samantha Nilsson, LCSW
THERAPIST
Sam is a therapist, a mom, and a human who believes that most people aren’t “broken”—they’re simply exhausted from trying to hold everything together.
She works with teens, young adults, and women who feel stuck between the life they have and the life they thought they’d be living by now. It can be easy to follow a path that others have set out for us without stopping to ask whether it’s actually the path we want.
Sam helps clients slow down, question those expectations, and reconnect with what truly matters to them.
Sam creates a space where clients can say the things they may feel like they can’t say out loud.
Together, they can sort through the noise, better understand what’s happening beneath the overwhelm, and identify changes that feel realistic and doable in their actual lives.
With more than 15 years of experience as a therapist, Sam also specializes in perinatal and maternal mental health, an area she cares deeply about. She understands how transformative—and sometimes overwhelming—the transition into motherhood can be and is passionate about supporting women through all of its complexities.
Above all, Sam hopes every client feels safe to show up exactly as they are. No pretending, no judgment, and no need to have it all figured out.
She looks forward to meeting you and being part of your journey.
