Amanda Chase, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Amanda Chase, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of behavioral health experience.

She recognizes that beginning mental health care can feel overwhelming and strives to offer a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns.

Amanda received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Her professional background includes inpatient psychiatry, community-based group home services, and outpatient mental health care. She has supported children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with a range of mental health needs.

Amanda approaches care from the belief that each person’s story is larger than a diagnosis.

She listens closely to understand patients’ symptoms, personal history, strengths, and priorities, then incorporates evidence-based treatment with empathy and practical guidance.

She values shared decision-making and works collaboratively with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that fit their circumstances and goals. When desired and appropriate, Amanda welcomes the involvement of family members and other supportive people in the patient’s life.

Amanda is dedicated to helping patients gain insight, build effective coping skills, and feel empowered in their mental health journey. Her aim is to provide compassionate care that supports meaningful progress and lasting well-being.
