No one said Life would be easy, but it doesn't have to be so hard.

Let's work together to bring you peace and Joy!

Welcome! We are glad you are here!

If your child is having frequent meltdowns, shutting down, worrying constantly, struggling to listen or follow directions, or having a hard time managing big emotions, you may be wondering, “What can I do to help?”

Maybe your teen is struggling with anxiety, friendships, school, emotions, or a major life change.

Or maybe you're the one who feels overwhelmed, stuck, stressed, or exhausted—trying to manage work, relationships, parenting, grief, or changes in your own life.

It's okay to ask for help.

Waterview Counseling Services provides in-person therapy in Watertown, CT for children, teens, and adults, serving clients throughout Watertown and surrounding communities, including Oakville, Waterbury, Thomaston, Litchfield, Bristol, Middlebury, Southbury, and Woodbury.

We also offer telehealth therapy for individuals ages 14 and up across Connecticut, making compassionate mental health support accessible wherever you are in the state.

How We Can Help

 Children

Is your child:

  • Having frequent tantrums or big emotional reactions?

  • Struggling to listen or follow directions?

  • Constantly worrying or feeling nervous?

  • Shutting down or withdrawing?

  • Having difficulty with friendships or school?

  • Struggling with changes at home or school?

  • Having trouble managing frustration or anger?

  • Showing signs of ADHD or difficulty with attention and impulse control?

Therapy can give children a safe place to express themselves, understand their emotions, and learn healthy ways to cope.

We may use play, art, mindfulness, CBT, and other age-appropriate approaches to help children build emotional regulation and coping skills.

Teens

The teen years can bring a lot of pressure and change.

Your teen may be struggling with:

  • Anxiety or constant worrying

  • Big emotions or mood changes

  • School stress

  • Friendships or social challenges

  • Family or relationship difficulties

  • Low self-esteem

  • ADHD or difficulty staying organized

  • Divorce, moving, loss, or other major life changes

Therapy provides teens with a supportive, judgment-free place to talk, learn coping skills, and better understand themselves.

Adults

Maybe you look like you have everything together—but inside, you're overwhelmed.

You may be dealing with:

  • Anxiety or constant stress

  • Feeling stuck or unmotivated

  • Relationship struggles

  • Parenting stress

  • Grief and loss

  • Depression

  • ADHD

  • Divorce or separation

  • A new job or career change

  • Moving or another major life transition

  • Becoming a parent

  • Sending a child off to college

  • Difficulty finding a healthy work-life balance

Therapy can help you slow things down, understand what you're experiencing, and develop practical tools to feel more in control.
